As DeKalb County School District (DCSD) plans for the 2021‐2022 school year, the district is considering the needs of our students and teachers.
It is important that the district continue to focus on student outcomes and plan for five days of full‐ me, in person learning for all students next year. DCSD is expanding FLEX Academy to offer virtual remote learning as an option for middle and high school students. The virtual op on will be an extension of FLEX academy but connected to each home school.
FLEX Academy is DCSD’s virtual learning experience. Middle and high school students will be able to enroll in online core and elective classes, that meet the school’s motto: flexible learning with excellence.
In an effort to gather thoughts and ideas from our DCSD community regarding the 2021‐2022 school year, the district will host regional/community town halls April 27‐29.
